On August 11, 2018, our friend and colleague Stafford Tinsley was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. In the following weeks he has undergone several procedures including regimens of dialysis—a process that he’ll need to endure three times a week. He has been in the hospital since his diagnosis while the medical team tries to stabilize his condition.

 
Stafford and his wife Gail have contributed more than forty-five years of service to Florida Hospital. When they’re not serving the Hospital, they actively support their local church community, enjoy traveling the world, and keeping up with Stafford’s favorite sports.

 
We have all been touched by Stafford’s warm heart, willingness to help, and dedicated service. This unforeseen event has saddened us all. Stafford’s unexpected illness has brought financial, emotional, and physical stress to his family, who request that we keep him in our prayers.
