Tina Virgil

Hi, my name is Kat. I am fundraising for my Aunt Catrina Virgil who recently passed away January 17, 2023 from her 7 year battle with breast cancer, she was 49 years old. 

Tina found out she had breast cancer in 2016. She had a double mastectomy, but then found out it had spread to her lymph glands. In 2020 she was told that the cancer had metastasized to several places in her bones; spine, ribs, and pelvis. She had chemo and radiation throughout this time period. In this past year the cancer had spread to her liver. She was again having treatments, but began retaining fluid in her abdomen. She went in several times to have the fluid removed and also had surgery to put a drain in her abdomen. That was just this past Wednesday January 11, 2023. 

 I have set up this page to help with funeral and medical costs directly payable to her husband, my uncle, Edward Virgil.

She is survived by her husband Eddie and their two boys Noah and Ethan. 

Noah is an 18 year old recent high school graduate who lives at home with his Dad and brother. 

Ethan is a 15 year old who was very close with his mother. He is attending school and is a special needs child.
