Houseless not Homeless ♥️ and always Hopeful.
Overview: Your donation will help me make the ongoing repayments for the little camper that I am now living in.

“I feel like this year has really been a lesson in learning to let go. Nothing is permanent. Life is fluid.
A combination of the pandemic, rental crisis, house prices and cost of living, have left thousands of us homeless, displaced, uncertain (including me)…now the state is in terrible flood.”
My landlord sold up mid pandemic, the beautiful little shack I had lived in for years, it sold for triple its value and I was forced to move temporarily where my rent more than doubled.
The money I saved so hard for over the last few years for my home deposit, went straight to the new rent. All of it. I had to make a decision.

I am now living in this little camper full time. I was extremely lucky to get one (many people in the same situation on waiting lists to purchase caravans).
I will make this work. I have to.
I have had to re-home my chickens and rip up my garden, sell most of my possessions, almost everything gone…

The world has turned upside down for so many of us, I know.
I have times where I feel utterly defeated, but I will not give up. I am still determined to one day own my own little patch of land, somehow.
I. Will. Not. Give. Up.

I would like to thank you for these contributions, you are helping me immensely and also for continuing to support my art at TRaewyn Jewelry. With absolute gratitude and heartfelt thanks, Tina.

Post from Facebook 15th October 2022.
Update on the floods, Victoria, Australia. ♥️Firstly, Thank You so much for all of your beautiful messages, it’s hard to reply to everyone, so I will let you know here firstly that I am absolutely safe. My beautiful bird Tiki is safe. The Jewelry is packed in stackable containers in my car, and is safe. All the things I need to keep creating Jewelry are in my car and safe. I am in my little 4x4 camper hitched to my car, it’s cosy and warm and dry, and I can move to higher ground if needed. My little home on wheels. My other belongings were all in storage, I’ll know in a few days whether they were flooded. Honestly though all that matters to me is that we are safe and warm. Everything I really need is with me ♥️ Tiki (my bird) is happily eating his apple, I started creating a new necklace last night and have a hot cup of tea in hand as I write.Regardless of everything that has been happening, these last weeks, months, TRaewyn Jewelry will continue as normal ♥️ as you know, creating these jewelry pieces are my first love, my soul fire! I feel like this year has really been a lesson in learning to let go. My life has changed dramatically over the last few weeks. Nothing is permanent. Life is fluid. A combination of the pandemic, rental crisis, house prices and cost of living, have left thousands of us homeless, displaced, uncertain…including me…and now the state is in terrible flood. Living full time in a 4x4 camper wasn’t really on my bucket list, this is all very new to me, but it’s safe, it’s mobile (which has been a blessing right now) and I will be creating Jewelry everywhere I go ♥️ People are being stripped back to the bare essentials, survival mode. Be Kind. Be Understanding. Be Gentle. Today, the towns either side of me are inundated. I’m currently in the goldfields region of Victoria, Australia. People are still evacuating as rivers and creeks rise. Some have receded and damage is being assessed. It is quiet here though. I only know what’s happening via the radio and internet. Every so often I hear a siren as SES, Police and CFA head through the closed roads to reach the other towns. Helicopters fly overhead. Volunteers stop in town to refresh and then continue their tireless work. Small Towns are amazing. People are incredibly caring. There is more weather in the coming days… My thoughts are with those still trying to evacuate. Stay Hopeful and Stay Safe Everyone. Much Love to each and every one of you! ♥️♥️♥️ Tina
