American Flag for Tiburon
Happy New Year Tiburon! Cheers to 2018!! A number of residents have requested and would like to see the American flag at the entrance of Tiburon - This would be placed on CDD land who would light it at night and maintain it going forward.
The HOA is unable to purchase the flag directly due to statute restrictions, but there is a way to make this happen - residents can donate to this fund and the money would be used to purchase the flag, pole and installation.
I know a great many of you have been or still are part of this country’s fine military personnel, or are related to a service member in some way or are simply patriotic Americans and what better way to pay our respects to all who have served. This was discussed at the last TEHOA meeting and met with a very positive response from the audience.
We would like to be able to have the flag installed by the end of the first quarter 2018 - so dig deep, donate and be a part of history by making this happen. No amount is too small (or too large) and something is always better than nothing - so please pledge something to enable this wonderful tribute to take place and be a part of the Tiburon entrance for many years to come.
