Thompson Chicago and Nico Osteria has always been a place built by its people and our neighbors.
It was with a heavy heart that we had to announce the temporary suspension of operations of both the hotel and restaurant. This decision was difficult, emotional, and one we took very seriously, knowing the impact it would have on our team. The hospitality industry has been severely affected by this global crisis, many hotels and restaurants are facing the same challenges and increasingly having to make the critical decision to suspend operations. It’s our hope that the sooner this is contained, the sooner our team can be back to work.
We are passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while fostering a strong familial bond with one another. One of our seven core values is to "Have Each Other's Backs."
In this spirit, we set up the Thompson Chicago & Nico Osteria family fund to directly support our team members .
