Dear all, we are Eli Cortiñas and Jerónimo Rüedi, two artists starting this campaign to help our beloved Qudaih family get out of Gaza. Through the initiative of a community of friends and supporters and the help of the Chilean government, we managed to get Hossam Qudaih, the eldest son, safely to Chile just a few days ago, September 11. The funds collected with this campaign are destined to pay the flights of the whole family to get them out of Gaza and safely to Santiago (Chile), where they can reunite with Hossam and be finally safe.

We need to raise $14,000 USD/ (approx. 12.000 EUR) for the 7 of 8 flights (we already have an amazing sponsor covering one full ticket!). We are making an urgent call for support to help us reach this goal and bring them safely to Chile.

As some of you might know, we got involved with a campaign to help the Qudaih family survive in Gaza during this trying and terrifying times in the territory. Our dear friend, Chilean artist Patricia Dominguez, set up a campaign early 2024 to collect donations that has become the lifeline for the family to keep afloat. She also organized a group of people including us who have been in direct contact over phone and messages with our beloved Hossam, the 21-year-old son of the Qudaih family. After a miraculous group effort– and with the help of the Chilean government - Hossam got safely out of Gaza to Chile.

Despite our efforts trying to get the whole family out together, we couldn’t make it happen. We have now started our efforts with the Chilean government to reunite the family. A group of committed friends in Chile is helping put all paper work together for building the case. But we need your help and support donating and spreading this campaign!

Hossam is heartbroken knowing that his family and community are still in Gaza, living under the hell of occupation, war and famine. We are determined to move mountains to reunite his family and help them evacuate to Chile as well. His family— six siblings, mother, and father—are left vulnerable without Hossam, who was their main provider. They are in the midst of mass evacuations, illness, and lack access to hygiene, medicine and food. His father has mobility issues and his younger brother Zain is suffering from severe psychological problems due to stress, malnutrition and his medical condition.

After seeing Hossam arrived safe in Chile through this miraculous group effort, we believe we can make another miracle happen and reunite the whole family.
