Hi, my name is Kendy, and my family and I are reaching out in hope of your support.

On the morning of September 30th, my mother was amongst a group detained by ICE while on her way to work. Getting that call from the strongest woman I know is a moment that will forever be etched in my heart. My mom is a God-fearing woman who loves her family deeply. She is not only my best friend, my rock, my confidant, and the light of our family, but also the devoted mother of her 4 children — including her 7-year-old son who needs her more than ever.

She has always worked tirelessly to provide for us, care for us, and hold our family together, but now she is the one in need of help. She is currently being held while awaiting a judge’s decision until the end of November: whether she will be deported or given the chance to reunite with her family. We are doing everything we can to support her through this painful and uncertain time, but the legal and financial costs are overwhelming.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward her legal fees. I am pleading from the bottom of my heart: if there is any way you can contribute, no matter how small, it will help us fight to bring our mom home to her children where she belongs. Whether through a prayer, a share, or a donation, please know that my family and I will forever be grateful for your kindness and generosity.

Recibir esa llamada de la mujer más fuerte que conozco es un momento que quedará grabado para siempre en mi corazón. Mi mamá es una mujer temerosa de Dios que ama profundamente a su familia. Ella no solo es mi mejor amiga, mi roca, mi confidente y la luz de nuestra familia, sino también la madre dedicada de sus 4 hijos — incluyendo a su hijo de 7 años, que la necesita más que nunca.

Ella siempre ha trabajado incansablemente para proveer por nosotros, cuidarnos y mantener a nuestra familia unida, pero ahora es ella quien necesita ayuda. Actualmente se encuentra detenida en espera de la decisión de un juez a finales de noviembre: si será deportada o si tendrá la oportunidad de reunirse con su familia. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarla en este momento doloroso e incierto, pero los costos legales y financieros son abrumadores.
