#THEYLIVETHROUGHME
THE CHRYSALIS PROJECT CIC
The Chrysalis Project is an organisation which supports young people experiencing bereavement. 1 in 29 young people have experienced the death of a parent or sibling - that’s one person in every classroom. 41% of young offenders have experienced bereavement as a child. The Chrysalis Project offers coaching and guidance to young people who are bereaved, from leaders with experience.
We are currently launching our first campaign and programme, #theylivethroughme. This campaign is the kindle in sparking the conversation to normalise talking about bereavement. There is no cure for the emotions we feel when someone dies. But you can rest assured that you are not alone.
#theylivethroughme helps to celebrate the lives of those who have passed and the things we have learnt from them which live on through us.
We help guide and coach the mindset needed for young people to turn devastating losses into meaningful purpose whilst dealing with the emotional consequences. The programme is made up of 8 weeks of workshops consisting of group work, 1-2-1 coaching and classes with special guests with experience. Alongside this we have a counsellor and other referral partners to ensure young people’s wellbeing is looked after.
Every contribution we receive is directed to where it can have the greatest impact. Whether that is a pound towards resources and activities or paying for an 8-week programme for a young person. We appreciate every penny, especially during these trying times.
Thank you for choosing us.
