THE SCHOOL RUN . Ultra-Marathon to support NETNS

Hello,
On Sunday 13th of December, I will run a 50km Ultra Marathon by doing multiple laps of the Navan Educate Together National School campus to raise funds for the students of the school.
If we reach our goal, extra resourses can be purchased for the children.
If we surpass our goal even more resources can be purchased.
Every penny raised will go to benefit and enhance our kids experience in school.
Why am I doing this? Well, it's my sons last year at NETNS. This time next year he'll be in secondary school. Over the years I have volunteered to help the kids as much as I can in various capacities. We even won an award for the school with one of our projects! Plans were in the making for other projects this year but Covid put the kibosh on those.
So before he leaves for good, I want to do something to show my gratitude to such an amazing school. (And do so in compliance with social distancing protocol).
On December 13th I'll be running a 50km ultra marathon on the school campus on a Sunday when there is nobody there!
Not a conventional ultra as it will consist of nature trail, playground, car park, driveway, footpath and a bit of field in a loop of less than 1km!
All fundraisers have had to be cancelled this year for obvious reasons, but this allows you to support the school without having to participate in anything!
Please help me say thank you to our school. Not just from me, but from all of us!
They are an essential part of our children's upbringing and are having to do so while hindered by Covid restrictions.
From their humble beginnings in 2002 in a one room hall with two classes separated with a curtain to the incredible custom building and campus our children enjoy today, they deserve some applause and acknowledgement!
