We have been married nearly six years and we knew from the start we wanted our own child...2-3. We both love children and discovered we have a natural, easy and wonderful way with children.
We married late in life, so we started working on having a child shortly after our wedding in 2009.
The great old fashioned way did not work. We went the IVF route three times with no success...but with a big bill that we are still paying.
After soul searching, we started the adoption process. It has been a lot of work and a pricey process.
We felt we could handle the process, however there has been a financial hitch in the plan. Recently Shannon found out her new company no longer pays for maternity leave for adopting parents. That means 2-3 months with no pay and a last adoption fees equal to 3-4 months of pay.
So doing something we have never done, we are asking for help to offset our many expenses.
We want our forever family and we hope you will help us. We are grateful for any monetary gifts and we always need prayers.
