In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, we're launching #thegivingchain as a way to highlight local businesses that are suffering so we can rally as a community and support them!
I'm sure we all know someone in the service industry who has recently lost their job and this is our way of helping them.
Our goal is to:
1. Highlight a local business each week
2. Raise money for the business through social channels
3. Buy gift cards from the business with the donations
4. Give those gift cards to folks who have lost their jobs
Each dollar will essentially be working twice as hard and helping two people at once!
