Help Bring Tracks of Her to Life: A Senior Thesis Musical by Ary’ana Davis

Heyy There! My name is Ary’ana Davis, actress, singer, dancer, and more. I am a senior musical theatre major at the University of Florida. I’m thrilled to share that for my senior thesis, I am creating a brand-new original musical titled Tracks of Her. This semi-autobiographical production is not just a performance; it's a declaration of identity, growth, and my journey while being at UF.

The Tracks of Her is a concept-album-style musical that follows my journey through college as a young Black woman navigating leadership, artistry, family legacy, and self-discovery. Each “track” in the show represents a year, a chapter, or a lesson. It’s a fusion of spoken word, music, dance, and soul. I’ve written this piece out of love and passion for what I do.

This is more than a school project to me. It’s a culmination of years of work, loss, love, and triumph. It is my way of reclaiming space, telling my story, and honoring the people who have been by my side along the way.

To fully realize this production, from costumes and set design to lighting, sound, marketing, and compensating a small team of collaborators, I need your support. Your donation will help me:

* Secure rehearsal and performance spaces

* Cover production costs (props, tech equipment, printing, etc.)

* Promote the show to the campus and Gainesville communities

* Film and archive the final performance
