The Summerland Legion Recover from Theft!

We are the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #22 in Summerland, BC. After the tremendous support the community gave our veterans on November 11, 2022, our branch was the target of criminal activity. A person or persons broke into our legion, stole the Remembrance Day donation money and other funds stored on the premises, destroyed and stole surveillance and other electronic equipment, and caused structural damage to our branch. We are devastated by this despicable act on our local legion. The community has been overwhelmingly supportive during this time. It has been suggested that we, the Summerland Legion, have an avenue to donate online for those who can not mail in donations or drop by the branch to donate. As such, we have created this GoFundMe page. Please consider donating here to support our veterans and our community. Any funds raised above the amount taken in the middle of the night from us will continue to be brought back to the community and our veterans.
