Every night I hear my children’s cries as they shiver from the cold and hunger, and I sit powerless, unable to protect them. I am Ibrahim Mohammed Khweiter, married with 12 children, living in a ruined house that does not protect them from the rain or wind. I watch them cover their little faces with their hands as they silently cry, and each day without food or warmth deepens my feeling of helplessness and sorrow.

We are in desperate need of everything—food, clothing, and even a moment of safety. Any contribution, no matter how small, gives us hope and helps my children live with dignity, even for a moment.
