The Spectrum fundraiser
September is my favorite month in the year, the weather begins to cool down and I get to celebrate my birthday ALL MONTH LONG.
Last year I asked for your help to help raise funds for The Spectrum of NCW.
Together we were able to raise a total of $350, that was amazing!
This year I am humbly asking for your help in raising funds for “The Spectrum of NCW” once again.
The Spectrum is a group of community leaders, volunteers, LGBTQ+ community members, allies and community supporters. The Spectrum seeks to promote awareness, advocacy, education, community engagement, and safe meeting spaces for our local LGBTQ+ Community in NCW.
The funds raised will be used for;
Food and snacks for the bi-weekly Spectrum meetings
Free Community events, - where everyone can attend regardless of ability to pay
Purchase educational materials
Purchase The Spectrum branded promotional items
The Spectrum group does a great deal of work for the LGBTQ+ community, the group has gotten requests from our community based organizations who are looking for LGBTQ+ training and education, but we lack the funds to make all this happen.
$5, $50, $500, we would be grateful for any amount.
