My family has always been the first to help another in need. Now they are in need & I am asking you for help.
I will take you back for a minute so you understand the gravity of this for my family. My mom is the most compassionate, understanding, giving & loving person you will ever meet. She fought for 10 years for her child suffering from mental health and addictions problems. This ended in my brother taking his own life at age 26, in August 2017. New Years 2018 we lost a family friend then six months later my grandfather passed away (my mother’s dad) and we got news that my Mother in Law had lymphoma. Shortly after that my husband lost his job and my family moved in with my parents. As my MIL was fortunately beating her battle, my father in law’s ER visit for stomach pain turned into a four week stay that ended with him passing away in June 2019. Just as my husband got a job and we moved out, my step dad lost his job. It had been a very rough few years and just as things seemed to be looking up the beginning of this month (Dec ‘19) my step dad received the news he has pancreatic cancer and will need extensive surgery, chemo and radiation. The recovery time will be a minimum of six months. During this time my mother will be taking on all the financial hardship including astronomical medical bills.
Through out the grief, tragedy, & unexpected events my parents never asked for help from anyone. I watched as they still always reached out to help others and made sure that charity and kindness was always something instilled in me. This is why now I am asking you to help my family. They have always given and helped me and others and more than anything I wish that I could give back to them this timeUnfortunately I can’t on my own so I ask if you read this and can help with a donation, I thank you, but also prayers, healing thoughts & well wishes are all appreciated more than you can imagine.
Thank you
Brittany Fabrizio
