The Run-a-Day Pride Fundraiser

The invitations were sent, the cake was paid for, the beautiful wedding party was ready for some fun... and along came the horrid Covid 19 and it rained all over the party.
Hundreds of LGBTI+ charities found themselves with a massive hole in their finances during a difficult year for most us. To celebrate Pride month, a group of intrepid Goodgymmers from across the country have come together to #RunWithPride and raise some funds for some wonderful charities that need our help now more than ever.
The orgs we are fundraising for are tbc within the next week but rest assured that every penny raise (other than any gofundme admin fees) will be going to a worthy cause.
What do you get for your donation, you ask?
Well, 31 runners will be individually covering at the very least 5k every day of this July. There is chat of completing the distance between London and Sheffield (where most of the 31 are from), and even rumours of peer-pressuring one of the runners, whose birthday is this month, into an eye-watering 30k bday run. But, at the end of the day, what you get is the satisfaction of helping the wonderful LGBTI+ community at one of the most pressing moments in modern times.
