It is with a very heavy heart that we announce The Room at the Inn has been ordered to close due to code violations. The Fire Marshall has asked us to vacate all of our guests by September 17th. This means our homeless single mothers and children will need to transition into other living quarters in a very short time. You can well image the turmoil this will present to their sense of security and stability. They have all settled in to new careers and the children are doing so well in school.
Our main focus right now is to help our current guests find available housing in the current school districts that the children attend which is Spring Hill Elementary, EA Cox and Mount Pleasant. If you know of anyone with available rentals, please have them contact us!
Columbia.... you have been so good to us as we serve our homeless brothers and sisters. We not only need prayers but also financial donations to help our current guests find housing, help with rent and deposit expenses and necessities to rebuild on their own on such short notice. In addition, start up utility expenses and deposits.
