The Road to Recovery and Healing

Our dear brother/friend Sokha Kong, needs our help! Due to an unforeseen of his wife’s medical condition has put them in a very difficult situation. She has been diagnosed with severe infection, which led to complication of her bone marrow and will need blood transfusion and platelets as part of an ongoing therapies. She had undergone various treatments at the hospital for quite some time and finally discharged home. However, she will need more treatments. For these reasons, they've exhausted their financial resources.

About his wife, she’s a very giving and an active community member. She has taught and kept our cultural alive through her teaching of the Khmer classical and folk dances. She has passed on her knowledge and teachings to the Tacoma dance group, the Khemarak Samaki Classical Dance Group in Washington state.

It is now our turn to help and support them, especially now. This is the season of giving and so any amount you give will definitely help alleviate some of their financial stress. With the community support, it will help them focus on getting her health back so that she may continue to contribute to our community.
