The regeneration of Penny Lane

Penny Lane is the most famous lane in world. As the heart of the Beatles Homeland quarter it attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world.

But it needs some tender loving care and the creation of facilities that will benefit residents and tourists alike. The local community have developed ambitious plans for the area including better signage and the creation of art works greening projects and seating points along the Lane and just outside it.

We need about £50,000 in total to do the work and are setting up this appeal to raise £25,000 from Beatles fans all over world. The Beatles gave our world so much. Can the world give something back to the place where it all started?
