The Preacher Foundation

The Preacher Foundation is a non profit organization which has teamed up with IRC Music Center and Greenfield Music Center along with The Whiskey Bent Bar & Restaurant to raise money to help our young generation Thrive through the power of music! I ,as a musician and very involved in the live music scene in Indpls and surrounding areas have always wanted to give something back to the young children out there which want to learn music and learn to play guitar,drums,keyboards etc. but their parents can’t really afford to pay for lessons,classes or even afford to buy them the instrument their child wants to play! That’s where The Preacher Foundation comes in! Starting April 11th 2021 Thru August 28th 2021 any parent which child or children wants to really learn and play a instrument will be able to enter their child  ( no cost for entry) at the Whiskey Bent located at 5250 e us 36 Avon Indiana! 2-4 kids will be drawn on August 28th at the Get Bent Music Festival and those winners will choose what they want to learn! Guitar Keyboards drums ..or whatever instrument that IRC Music offers in lessons! The winners will be taken to IRC Music and pick out what instrument including amps they are going to learn! All paid by the go fund donations and donations collected at The Whiskey Bent! This package also includes up to two lessons per week for one full year..also paid by donations! After they finish their year of lessons they will get to play with the Bands at the next Get Bent Festival in August of 2022! any donation left over after buying the equipment and lessons will be donated to our veterans!
entries begin April 11th and continues til August 28th! Children should be around the age of 9 or 10 to 17 years old!! Let’s help our youth get music in their lives!! Give them something to thrive for and have a goal!!! Go fund mewill run until August 28th 2021!  This will be a year to year event and The Preacher Foundation will continue this great cause!
