The Potters Village Orphanage Ghana

Danielle will be traveling to Ghana for the first time along with Melissa who will be returning for the third time to volunteer at an orphanage called "The Potter's Village". The orphanage is home to over 120 boys and girls ranging from ages 1 to 24 years old.

Everyday, we take simple things in life for granted. They are often without clean drinking water, proper shelter from mosquitos carrying malaria, medications, first aid items and other basic life needs.

These are the sweetest, funniest, and most loving children in the world. The Potter's Village relies on donations to continue to house and care for all 120 kids. Please help us raise money to be able to provide food, water, and other necessities for the children of The Potter's Village home. 

100% of donations will be going towards the orphanage and the daily necessities that they require. If there is something specific you would like your money to go towards, we will be happy to do that! 

Here are some basic prices to put into perspective how far the US dollar can go:  $1 is currently worth 4.41 in Ghana. 
$2 - Malaria medication for one child.
$8- A piece of fruit for every child in the home.
$10 - Clean drinking water for every child in the home for a full day
