The Package - Thesis Film

One more job with an unlikely duo and $5 million on the line. Sounds like one hell of a road trip.

The Package is an action/comedy short film written by Sarah Barnes that our team plans to start shooting this Spring fo 2022.

Sarah, with her witty sense of humor and gift with a pen (or in this case a keyboard), has several romantic comedy scripts under her belt. Her desire to push herself to creating something new and exciting and to see it come to life brings us here.

Jessica Hudkins, The Package's Producer, has produced numerous short films over the years ranging from short horror, to Sci-Fi, to drama and comedy. When brought this script, she knew this was going to be the perfect piece for this summer.

The inspiration for this script came from female lead duo movies such as the classic Thelma & Louise (1991) and the comedic The Heat (2013). With our female core team, we not only want to make a film that tickles the funny bone and leads you on an adventure, but also to showcase female empowerment and the importance of strong bonds.

To make this the best film it can be, we need your help! We ask of you to give only what you can or more if you want because every little bit helps. Every single person that donates will get a special thank you in the credits and those that donate $100 or more will be honored with the title of executive producer.

For some on our crew, this is just another wonderful experience and a chance to thrive and grow on a set. For others, this is the film that will be the ribbon tied on their final graduate year.
