The new new picture was taken in California the week before I ended up in the hospital in March, 2019. My hair is MUCH thinner now!

I passed the six year mark on March 14, 2020. The most recent number I saw for the five year survival rate for metastatic colon cancer is 12%, and my first oncologist told me, reluctantly, with lots of caveats about the variability of the numbers, the prognosis was 12-24 months with treatment, 6-12 without. Yikes, yet here I am.

I passed 24 months in 2016. It’s been an adventure, I have no doubt that the body
is capable of healing if I can get out of its way, so operation ego death continues. Stay tuned , and as always, thank you thank you thank you!
