The One Where Shelby Gets a Kick-Ass Attorney

In 2021, after 8 years of marriage, my sweet friend Shelby mustered up the courage to file for a divorce. Unfortunately the separation has not been amicable &, after spending an arm and a leg for 14 months of useless legal counsel, she is now ISO a new attorney that will go to trial & be willing to fight for her and her 2 children in the capacity that she so desperately needs/deserves.

Shelby is currently attending school full time to finish her engineering degree (two semesters left!) and recently landed an engineering internship that will have promising opportunities available to her after graduation. (If you know her, you KNOW this has been a long time coming- I’m so proud of her!)

My hope for this fundraiser is that as her family, friends and community we can help lift the financial burden of hiring a stellar new attorney that can wrap up this seemingly endless divorce process. Any proceeds left over from legal fees will be donated to YWCA Utah.
