Amparo Elizabeth Melchor & Margarito Melchor
It is with a broken heart that I write on behalf of a friend, a wife, and a loving mother of two. Amparo Elizabeth Melchor is only 46 years
old and has been battling ovarian cancer for 3 years now. The cancer has destroyed her liver
and her kidneys, and has spread now all over her stomach. She is now in hospice care at
home with her loving husband and two children, ages 8 and 13. Her son Abiel had
emergency Appendix surgery last year while mom was battling cancer. Happy to say Abiel was recovered from the surgery and came
home just in time for Christmas. Her daughter
Cecelia, at age 13, two months ago was
Diagnosed with stomachs Ulcer. She is dealing with it a day at a time. This kids have gone
through so much at a such a young age.
Amparo, has been given days to live with no
hope of any cure. Please don’t think that she
has lost the battle with cancer, for she has
won the challenges of life. Her strength,
wisdom, patience, faith and loyalty and
unconditional love has been her most
generous gift to her family. Her legacy will live on through her family.
The holidays have made these difficult
moment's extremely painful for her loved
ones. Not knowing when her last goodbye will be, not knowing when she will take her last
breath, not knowing her last “ I Love You”, is
making their hearts very heavy.
We must stay strong for the Melchor family.
Their humbleness and kindness has touched
our hearts. Mrs Melchor’s children are part of our school community and we love them just
as our own children. We want the holidays to
Be filled with happy memories for them. We
pray that they find strength and peace during
these difficult moments.
I am asking that u find it in your heart to help
this family in need with any amount of
donation. As a community we can come
together and bring a little bit of hope to this
family during their time of need.
Thank You,
Rina Minassian
