When my sister, Shae, was 11 she had severe appendicitis. She was misdiagnosed by several doctors causing her appendix to rupture and she became septic. She had multiple major surgeries in order to save her life. She was left with a 12 inch scar to remind her how lucky she was to survive! Later in life, Shae had a procedure that revealed that because of her prior surgeries she would not be able to conceive children naturally, because she has an excess of scar tissue that is effecting her reproductive tract. Shae will have to go through the process of In vitro fertilization (IVF) to be able to have children. Shae has always dreamed of having many children and having a large family. Any one who knows Shae and her husband knows they’ll be excellent parents. In vitro fertilization can cost up to 25,000 a cycle! So I created this go fund me to help cover the expenses of IVF and give Shae and Matthew one less thing to stress over once she starts the process of trying to conceive a child. Every little bit counts!
