The McGoldrick Quad Squad
We were blessed with Quadruplets. From day one it has all been one surprise after another. Becoming pregnant was surprise #1. Finding out I was having triplets (that’s what they told me the first two visits ) was surprise #2. Then finding out I was having Quadruplets was surprise #3.
The chances of having quadruplets is about one in 800,000. The chances of having a set of identical quadruplets is one in 11 million to 15 million.
They were born on 7/22
• Claire Grace, born at 15 inches, 2 pounds 9 ounces.
• Olivia Michelle ( identical ), 14 1/2 inches, 2 pounds 2 ounces.
• Scarlet Rose ( identical ), born at 14 inches, 2 pounds 5 ounces.
• Bentley Sean❤️, born at 15 inches, 2 pounds 8 ounces.
Our 4 little miracles are in the NICU. Every baby is different, and things can change quickly. A baby who is doing well one hour may take many steps backward the next. It’s a rollercoaster for sure. I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s a slow road.
A new study finds having one child will cost about $21,000. That price tag skyrockets to $105,000 when having twins -- and more than $400,000 for triplets or more.
