On August 12th Brianna received heart-breaking news that Russell had passed away in a tragic accident while on a trip to Costa Rica. He leaves behind Brianna, his wife of 15 years, his two beautiful children (Noe, who turned 9 on August 13th and Roux, who turned just turned 4), as well as a very long list of family and friends who will miss him tremendously.

Russell had limitless energy and enthusiasm for people, travel, surfing, film, faith and life as a whole. He also had a unique ability to make every single person he talked to feel seen and important - and used this gift to impact so many lives from St. Augustine to Carlsbad and all around the world.

While Brianna has a hard time asking for help, she and the kids will need a lot of support in the coming months as they adjust to their new reality. All donations will go toward Russell's memorial service and supporting the family during this unimaginably difficult time.
