It is with sad minds and heavy hearts that we grieve the loss of Michael L. Williams. As most of you may be aware, on February 20th 2023, surrounded by family and music Michael lost his battle with cancer. Michael was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in early 2020, shortly after he and Amelia excitedly discovered they would be starting a family. Together, and with a lot of help, they fought this unfair battle maneuvering through countless doctors appointments, medical bills, the health care system, juggling jobs and raising a tiny human.

Michael was a strong, caring and patient man. He was excited to be a dad and he looked forward to taking Jessi to ballet or coaching her future basketball team. No matter how difficult and painful his journey became over the last few years Michael fought hard to be the light for his daughter, Jessi. He loved her so very much.

We are asking that as friends and family of Michael and Amelia we come together as a community and help Amelia and Jessi in any way that you can as they navigate their way through this difficult time. Any donation will help lesson the financial burden of the unknown road ahead. We greatly appreciate any form of help even if it’s just sharing and reposting Micheal’s story.
