Ahoy! My name is Wendy Parliament, and I’m raising funds to support my life partner, Isa Rosli, and his beloved sailboat, Olleanna, as he prepares for one of the most demanding ocean challenges on Earth — the Golden Globe Race 2026.

The Mission

In September 2026, Isa will set sail from Les Sables-d’Olonne, France to compete in the Golden Globe Race — a solo, nonstop, around-the-world journey via the five Great Capes… with no GPS and only 1968-era technology.

This race is a rare tribute to human endurance and seamanship. Only a handful of sailors in history have completed it. Isa is determined to be one of them.

️The Work Behind the Dream

Since May 2025, Isa has been living aboard Olleanna at a small boatyard in Frossay, France, pouring every day, every ounce of energy, and every resource he has into getting her race-ready.

The boat needs extensive love, repair, and upgrades to withstand nearly a year alone at sea. Isa is doing much of the work himself — sourcing parts, learning new skills, and slowly bringing this classic vessel back to life with his own hands.

It’s an enormous undertaking, bigger than either of us imagined. But Isa has never wavered.

A fellow sailor recently reached out, unprompted, wanting to support Isa’s journey. That simple act of kindness sparked something — a growing encouragement that Isa isn’t in this alone.
