We are Laos House, one of Kansas City's few restaurants in town focusing on Lao cuisine.

For the past two years, we have existed solely through pop-up events such as First Fridays, various Asian festivals in town, and finally a location that operates spring through fall. We hustled hard, traveling from location to location with as much grit and whatever equipment we could muster up.

We debuted our restaurant last year in the Iron District, however this past winter caused us incredible trouble and has put us behind for this year. Due to winter, most of our equipment to operate is now damaged, and our expenses has increased tremendously. We used 2024 to focus on launching, however playing catch up unfortunately put us tremendously behind for the new season. So much so, we are reaching out to our community for help. Without your help, we may not be able to continue our operations.

• upgrading equipment to operate in the Iron District

• securing labor for the new 2025 season

We want to continue Laos House, after all, we consider it your house too. We love our community, our food, and our city.
