The Kimbro's Community Fund

Kimbro's Pickin' Parlor has been Franklin's steadfast music community since we opened our doors in 2005. 
Offering live music programming seven days a week we happily support local, regional and touring musicians.

With the onset of the Covid-19 virus we are making the decision to do a community service by closing our doors until this virus is under control.

Please know that this decision is not made lightly.

The Kimbro's community is more than just a business to us...it's a family and we feel an overwhelming responsibility to keep our people safe and healthy.

The money we raise from this Gofundme campaign will go to keep Kimbros and our staff afloat.
This will also help musicians who call this place their artistic home keep their heads above water, by rescheduling instead of cancelling their shows and donating funds where we can.
We're also going to set up some streaming platforms so some of the bands can accept donations and covers from those of you who decide to stay home.

We are doing this for the community we love and hope other public-gathering businesses do the same.

We know how difficult it will be to stay home and isolate yourselves from the family that has nurtured you over the years, but if we don't do our part to help curb the spread of this virus, then we could be adding to the problem. The solution in front of us is more than just a simple hand washing.
If everyone steps up, we might be able to put this behind us and heal.

We hope to get through this and return healthier. We want you to do the same.
