The Kim Visser Memorial Award

A beloved secretary at Denis O'Connor Catholic Highschool, Kim Visser will be remembered for her kindness, empathy, and unwavering commitment to fostering inclusivity in the DOC community.

This award will recognize a student who consistently demonstrates genuine concern for the well-being of others, who offers support, understanding, and a comforting presence to those who need it most. Just as Mrs. Visser did for her students, the recipient of this award will have done their best to make everyone feel welcomed and valued in the school community.

It is the family's intention to maintain the award at a value of $500 in honour of a beloved wife, mom, and friend. All those who wish to honour Kim's memory are welcome to contribute to a cause that was always close to her heart - her students.
