Gibran Perez and Jonathan Espino started boxing at the age of 14 at a local gym in their community. They joined a non profit gym that allowed them access to the sport. They quickly learned the art of boxing and how it was more than just a sport. It taught them discipline, commitment, and mental strength. Both began fighting as amateur fighters and became part of a boxing community that was filled with hopes and dreams. As adults, they continued to be a part of this community and saw the impact that boxing had on underserved youth. It gave them a goal, a purpose, and safe outlet for them to express themselves. Gibran and Jonathan had their pro debut and are currently professional boxers. Their purpose is to give back to their community by impacting the youth through the sport of boxing.
