Hello Beautiful People,
My name is T'Keyah, affectionately known as TKaye, and I am an overcomer. I'm coming to you today to ask for an HUGE favor. On June 9th, I was let go from my job, (workforce reduction) and my insurance expires at the end of the month.
What's the issue - you ask?
Well, I have epilepsy (I was diagnosed at 10) and my Neurologist at the time told my parents that I would never graduate High School or be able to drive. But I had a praying grandmother. (Momma and Family) Cause, baby, when I tell you, I am more than a conqueror!
I GRADUATED College was president of the poetry club, marketing, and was on the Dean's List twice and moved across the country twice by myself. Oh, and did I mention I drive? The Look on the Neurologist face when I handed him the invitation to my college graduation priceless. He almost cried.
I have what they call spatial seizures or absent seizures. I can only speak for myself when I say most people don't know, and can never tell because it's controlled, and I'd prefer it to stay that way. (*Epilepsy affects and shows up differently in those that are affected)
With Your Help -
+ I can continue to live stress- free
+ Live Independently
+ Maintain a healthy diet
+ Have a year's worth of meds, and my doctors' visits paid
+ A min of 3 months' worth of utilities, and groceries.
+ I can also apply for insurance options that best fit my needs. Unfortunately, I don't qualify for Medicare / Medicaid or any of those programs because my superpower doesn't hinder my ability to work.
Thanks for your donation in advance! -
