The Jewish Community of Chernigov

Tax deductible
Dear Friends,

My brother in law and sister in law Rabbi Yisrael and Aliza Silberstein, Chabad representatives to Chernigov, Ukraine arrived yesterday Tuesday March 8th in Florida.

Yisroel and Aliza and their 9 children took refuge in their basement cellar as the bombs and missles fell on Chernigov. They managed to flee the city during the intense aerial bombardment of Chernigov.

The Silbersteins arrived in the United States with only one suitcase. They are committed to saving their community, and continuing to provide shelter and assistance to the community members who are unable to leave Chernigov.

They are coordinating and funding the supply of food, and assistance to those sheltering in their home and synagogue.

Over the weekend, Rabbi Yisroel was able to get 15 cars of people out of Chernigov to safety.

Please help the community of Chernigov.

Please support their efforts in rescuing those desperately trying to escape!

Please HELP them pay for the emergency supplies for those that cannot get out!

The community needs basic supplies, food and resources.

Along with your donations please keep the Jewish community of Chernigov in your prayers!

May Hashem see His children unite in supporting each other and respond in kindness with Moshiach
