The Inside Out Club for people with special needs

Hi my name is Nicole Birch founder of a not for profit starting up in airdrie september 1 ,2023. We have three months to raise $20,000 to fund our pilot 3 month program monday-friday, 10-3.0 We have teamed up with a local business owner IGLITCH which are willing to let us take over there place during the day 5 days a week. The money being raised is going toward our rent, and supplys. We run solely on volunteers for now until we can get goverment funding through the provincial goverment. we will be doing some funderasiers such as bake sales , car washes, ect which will be starting as soon as possible as well. We are needing the people of airdrie to step up and donate what they can even if its a dollar. Im also looking for volunteers to help me, craft supplies, clothing for our people with disabilies and mental health issues as alot of them only have a few items of clothing that fit them so we want to have a closet for them to be able to come in and pick out what they need .

The Inside Out Club

Airdrie's safe place for peoples with disabilities and mental health a place that makes everybody feel like a somebody. A safe place for all of us to hang out together, heat up lunchs and actually eat all together, enjoy coffee time together as a community. As of right now there is nothing like what we are offering for the people in Airdrie. Starting from Monday-Friday, 10-3. Open for our people to come in and just hang out, play games, use the computers, do crafts, watch movies, play pinball, air hockey just to name a few. We are working with mayor Peter Brown and MLA Angela Pitt to help falicitate our goverment funding for this program. They are aware of this much needed service for our people. We have there full support going forward. We are up for the 100 men clubs donation we are 1 of 3 who will be presenting that night which would help us hugely start off strong. Our long term goal of funding our own building and programs through goverment funding, and being airdries one stop for all services relating to mental health and peoples with disabilities. PDD funding for evening and weekend drop ins to give parents a much needed break. All ages drop ins, come with an health aide or come find a health aide. Support programs for our parents to get together and relate or vent.
