Due to the sudden passing of Jim, we have set up this GoFundMe account per the request of many close friends and family that wish to contribute toward medical/hospital expenses, plus other costs the Gagliardi family has incurred during these past weeks. Thank you for keeping Jim’s family close at heart during this difficult time. They appreciate your kindness, love and support as we all mourn our beloved Jim.
Background on Jim’s condition:
On the morning of June 1st, Jim’s family noticed his physical and mental responses were slowly deteriorating. He struggled to speak and stand. As his condition worsened, he was rushed to the hospital. Medical tests and scans identified a large brain tumor. Jim was soon transported to Sacramento for further examinations. Neurologists determined from biopsy results that Jim had inoperable brain cancer. The family was told Jim’s life expectancy was 2-4 months. However, their time with Jim was cut far shorter as his condition began to rapidly fail. He passed away just two weeks later with Laini and their children by his side.
