EDIT: It's become apparent that we're not going to hit our target in our current crowdfunding round.
I totally underestimated the work involved in making the crowdfunding a success.
So we're scaling back our crowdfunding ambitions and focusing our attention on corporate partnerships and grant funding and will launch a new campaign later on this year or next year.
I'm hugely thankful for the funding we've got and all the donations received.
We've now got two weeks to run on the crowdfunding and we'd love to hit our target of £5000 to enable us to complete our existing commitments with one to one sessions - and to provide a pilot of group sessions backed up by one to one sessions to 10 or so young people.
We're 40% of the way to our new target can you help us reach our £5k target by 15th June?

Hi, I'm Jon Cunningham from The Futureneers.
I've worked as a volunteer in education since 2014, supporting over 300 students through programmes, sessions and mentoring in mainstream schools, Grammar schools, independent schools, Pupil Referral Units and schools for students who have special educational needs.
How did The Futureneers come about?
In 2021, I decided to set up The Futureneers, to help young people that find school difficult - those that don't fit the education system's mould - the square pegs in the round holes; those whose aspirations and self-belief are negatively affected by their current experience - just like mine were.
What does The Futureneers do?
We believe all young people deserve the opportunity to excel in life - regardless of their background, aspirations, learning styles, skills or interests.
Our work supports young people to focus on what matters to them and equips them with the self-belief and capability to fulfil their potential - regardless of their story so far - we tell them "you can succeed" and we're here to help them do so.
Why are you crowdfunding?
Since October 2021, with advice and support from our non-exec directors, I've been working to build relationships with schools, local businesses and entrepreneurs, marketing the organisation, delivering programmes, sourcing merchandise, producing video - and everything else required to run a social enterprise.
So far, all work has been carried out on a voluntary basis, we've taken no money for any activities conducted - not even for petrol or other expenses.
However, now we're looking to ramp up our efforts; to establish an ongoing outreach campaign to schools and businesses, and to roll-out our support programme which will positively impact the lives of 100 young people in Kent; to show them they are capable, they are worth something and they can excel.
Whilst many schools see the need for our work they simply can't afford to pay for it - so we've launched this campaign to help fund our work.
What is your support programme?
Our support programme is a 10-week 1:1 course of mentoring and coaching designed to improve young disengaged students self-confidence, outlook and aspirations.
Rather than focus on the negatives, we dive into the things they care about, what motivates them, where things have gone well, what they enjoy, where they would like to be in life and the beliefs that could hold them back. We also explore the changes that can be made by them, their school and their parents or carers to make things better for all.
What will my donation do?
£5 moves us closer to our goal.
£50 allows us to get there 10x quicker.
£500 allows a young person to join our 10-week support programme.
We know times are tough but whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated - and if you can’t donate please spread the word.
