The Frost house calls for aid: Medical expense relief.

Last night when Kelly was taking Yara out for her final potty time, the lead got caught behind Kelly’s back and Yara took off running. It produced enough torque to spin her around, slam her into the car, and then to the ground where she slammed her body and the back of her head into the pavement.

We went to urgent care where the doctor was sufficiently convinced by her symptoms to have her transported to the hospital via ambulance. I met her there 30 minutes later.

The hospital performed ct scans of Kelly’s head, neck, back, and hips, and found no broken bones. So, while still in significant pain, she is going to be ok. No lasting damage done.

Her insurance is pretty awful. We had to pay a copay at urgent care, as well as at the emergency room. Who knows what the final bill is going to be once it’s all said and done. Because of the money we had to pay last night, we are in a bad way financially. So for the second time in my life, I’m reaching out to all of you to try and help if you can.

Please don’t even think about giving to this godundme if you don’t have it. We will get by as we always have. We are looking toward the future and having Yara professionally trained. That is going to be another expense we will have to bear. It’s our responsibility to do it, and we will. We just need some help to get through the holidays.
