NO TO THE NAME LEOPOLD ON SCHOOL
For several generations, people in and around the Harlesden area familiar with the horrific acts of the Belgium Butcher King Leopold 2, have felt uncomfortable, embarrassed and dismayed that a local primary school - now on two sites - has borne the name Leopold.
We are now having to set up a GoFundMe account, as it appears this mission is not going to be plain sailing. Brent Council is procrastinating in an effort for the matter to simply go away.
We as a group of concerned citizens, are now having to arrange meetings which involves hiring of meeting rooms and having to up the ante (so to speak) in regards to raising funds for publicity for the cause etc.
If you are able to make a small donation to the fund in order to help us raise £600 toward campaign costs that will appreciated
