Hello to all of the D.I.X. Milwaukee friends and family.
As you may be aware, bars & nightclubs in Wisconsin have been shut down through April to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). That means, through no fault of their own, the D.I.X. staff is unable to work their shifts because there are no shifts to be had for the time being.
Naturally, the reality of this temporary but necessary closure is financially straining. It is with great humility that we’re respectfully asking for help to keep our D.I.X. family afloat during this time with a "Digital Tip Jar".
100% of the money raised here will go directly to support our staff to aid them with living expenses while we remain closed.
Between our bar, entertainment, door and security staff, we put in hundreds of hours every week to bring you some of the most unique, inclusive, and artistic nightlife experiences in Milwaukee since 2010.
We know everyone is struggling right now during this unprecedented moment in history, however, if you’re fortunate enough to be in a position to offer any support, the D.I.X. staff would be immensely grateful. #SmallBusinessRelief
Beyond the financial hardship everyone is facing, we’re deeply missing the connections with you all that we have come so accustomed to sharing every week. This isolation is especially hard for an industry like ours that is all about the people. So, even if you’re unable to make a contribution here, say hello or share something in the comments.
