Damany Amir Doby Sr. was a son, brother, cousin, uncle, friend, a nationally acclaimed master barber, but most importantly, he was a father. Sadly, Damany passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2021, leaving his children Saraiyah and Damany "DJ" Jr., behind to cherish his memory. Damany's mother, Ms. Joann Doby, is establishing this fund to make provisions for her grandchildren's future college aspirations. It is her heart's desire to salute her son's legacy by ensuring his children can have the support of those who loved their dad.
Damany touched an innumerable amount of people in his 42 years on earth and was known for his giving heart, especially if it involved children, even if they were not his own. We ask you to please consider making a contribution to continue the spirit of giving he embodied. Proceeds will be used to support his children's educational endeavors, organizations that support youth development, and individuals pursuing licensure in the Barbering profession.
