“In the Spring of 2021, Yvonne's husband Richard experienced his first seizure, which led to the discovery of a rare form of Brain Cancer known as Glioblastoma. Now going on a year of treatments, Richard’s condition has worsened. During this time, the Cruz family, Yvonne and her three children, Milana, Dallas, and Anabelle have struggled to balance work and home obligations. As treatment and care for Richard have become more demanding, Yvonne's job has made it hard for her, so she made the difficult decision to take leave of absence from work without pay. Richard has now been placed on home hospice and she’ll use this time to focus on caring for her husband and family. The money raised will help them tremendously by not having to worry about bills. Any donation means a lot, The Cruz's are a strong and proud family. I know they find the process of asking others for help on this scale uncomfortable.
