We are planning a special evening dedicated to film, conversation, and the future of arts education and design. In collaboration with London's Shubbak Festival, on 25th May we plan to showcase the next generation of designers from the Middle East, offering a glimpse into their journeys, inspirations, and groundbreaking work.

Through a screening of the short film, The Creative Space, directed by Pia Brynteson and Ramzi Hibri, and insightful discussions with the crew behind it and members of the Creative Space Beirut community, we’ll explore the impact of design as a force for cultural expression and social change. Whether you’re passionate about fashion, design, or storytelling, this screening is an opportunity to engage with emerging voices shaping Lebanon’s creative landscape.

We would love to be able to bring the four students from Creative Space Beirut, whose work is going to be featured in the Shubbak festival, and also feature in the film, from Beirut to London for the weekend of the event.

To make this possible, we’re seeking support to cover flights, accommodation, and minimal expenses. Shubbak Festival and Service95 have each generously contributed £1000, but we’re aiming to raise an additional £3000.

We know this is a significant amount, so any contribution, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Your support will allow these students to present their work in person, participate in the panel discussion at the screening, and share their stories with a new audience!
