Hello everyone! I've been granted the opportunity to work with The Cordillera Project Philippines (TCPP) next June through September, where I'll be joining other volunteers in community outreach programs across the Cordillera Region!
TCPP has been helping people in Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Benguet since 2016 by providing aid through three specific missions: healthcare, education, and volunteer work. With these missions, volunteers assist in conducting check-ups, providing medicine and food, farming, renovation, and teaching a variety of subjects. TCPP is also focusing efforts on helping those who were affected by Typhoon Ompong, which impacted nearly 6,000 families in the Cordilleras.
While I am working with TCPP, I will mainly be teaching children and helping communities that were devastated by the typhoon in Benguet and Kalinga. I’ll have the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience to assist their communities to the best of my abilities, and I’m looking so forward to working with the project.
I’d like to ask that you help me in supporting The Cordillera Project. Any aid is much appreciated and will be directly used for the benefit of the communities. Donations in the form of clothing, school supplies, toiletries, electronics, etc. are also very welcome! Please let me know if you would like to donate any items, if you have any questions, or if you would just like to know about the project!
