The Chest is History: Gender Euphoria Fund

Hey community. The nerves are very real right now but I'm here asking for your help towards something I've needed to do for a long time.

...having a chest reduction would significantly change my life. 

As a gender - non conforming woman I've struggled for many years having a large chest. Not only is it physically painful
(30FFs are heavy af!), it's also a daily mental challenge existing in a body that doesn't fully reflect how I feel.

I'm not ready yet to go deeper into these challenges publicly, but it's been very difficult in various ways and theres only so much binding helps..it's feels time for me to take the next step. 

With your help (whatever you can give- no seriously I'm grateful for EVERY donation/pass onto those who can) I can get there sooner than I would solo.

Boundaries of engagement

I am trying to make peace with the paradox of speaking publicly about something that feels so personal and intimate and having to let go of some privacy in order to ask for collective support.

As most queer people understand - there are still people in our life who will support us but only so far . I'm worried this could be too much for some. Please help me keep these boundaries.

1. If we happen to work together - thanks again for your support! Feel free to message me privately if you're wondering how I am (post surgery), please don't ask me about the surgery in the workplace - digital or in person.

2.  I know some folks are keen for me to avoid GFme fees. It's much easier for me to manage the donations through the app. So please donate through this site.

3.  I won't be posting any updates of my body in the hospital /at home. I did make this playlist though of songs I'll be updating and listening to that are helping me affirm the choice I'm making towards *fingers crossed* gender euphoria.

I have raised around £1700 myself and am asking for support towards the rest 
- any raised above the total amount needed will be donated to other queer and trans people of colour fund raising for gender affirming surgery. 

Breakdown of costs :
 
Cost of Surgery: £6750

Cost of pre-op Psychological Assessment: £225 (this is something requested by surgeons performing GNC women's/nb surgery) 

3-4 weeks time off work for recovery: £1500
Aftercare : £300
