Shame has never made anyone more healthy. Children develop healthy habits by establishing good relationships with their bodies and their families—not with devices and corporations.
We've collected over 108,000 signatures on the petition to take down WW's Kurbo app for kids. Now we're working hard to deliver that petition to the decision makers at WW headquarters in New York City. Can't make it to New York? Be a part of the petition delivery by helping us raise $1000 in the next week.
Our first $200 will pay for the hosting costs of our volunteer-designed wakeupweightwatchers.com website, where we've been able to field media inquiries and host the letter from health professionals. The next $200 goes to printing the petition. Another $600 will help our campaign lead get to NYC to deliver the petition and conduct a demonstration/community art project. And after those expenses are paid, all funds will go to eating disorder advocacy groups around the country. Expense and giving reports will be reviewed by a nonprofit board and posted here.
