We are very sadden to inform everyone of the passing of our beloved Everardo (Eric) Ramirez. We are all heartbroken and devastated by the reality of it all.
A son, a father, and friend, Eric, born in Mexico, was brought to the Untied States at an early age of only 7 by our parents in search for something better than what we had. A better life in a foreign land with endless opportunities. When we finally arrived in the state of New York, we had no idea what impact this place was going to have on any of us or the love we would grow for this place. Our new home.
Growing up in the Bronx wasn’t easy, but we had fun whenever we could. Eric always knew how to make it easier. He was always a very genuine, lighthearted person that cared so deeply about his family. He would sit down and talk with you if you were upset, he remembered every birthday and he always knew what to say to get you to crack a smile whenever you thought you couldn’t. Eric cared so deeply about the ones he loved and made sure he did anything he could to protect them. He had his only son, David Ramirez, at the age of 23 and he loved him so deeply. Eric would go to the far ends of the world if it meant he would get to see his son happy. Everything he did, he did for David.
Eric has left us in this world to pass into the next but there is still much to be done. Everything in our hearts is telling us to lay him to rest here in New York, our home, but we cannot do it with our current financial situation. We are asking for help with the funding of the burial. Any donations that you can give is an enormous contribution in helping us reaching our goal.
In these difficult times, we are reminded by everyone in our community how much we are loved and cared for. We want to thank you all for your time and for the support we have gotten already.
With love
